Martyn is the Managing Director of AMB, and has been instrumental in driving the success of the company, whilst managing and developing teams. Martyn has also forged lasting partnerships with major clients across the UK. Martyn lives by the ‘never give up’ motto and always strives to keep pushing AMB to be as successful as they can be.
Martyn has come from a Mechanical Engineering / Construction background and has worked all over the world. He worked his way up from the tools to supervisor, then to management. He then came up with the idea to start AMB into recruitment, as he was recruiting his own labour on most sites with great feedback from clients.
On week nights you will find Martyn at his local gym and on weekends he loves spending time with friends and family, playing football or on the golf course - if he’s not working of course!
Barry founded AMB Technical as an Engineering company before the change to recruitment but still currently oversees all the major financial aspects of the business.
He comes from a strong engineering background, starting life out as a draftsman, moving up to Site and Project Management at Oil Refineries and eventually landing a role as a Senior Estimator at a major oil and gas company. All these roles have given Barry a sound knowledge of the financial aspects to business and he brings with him a lifetime of experience and abilities.
Barry enjoys spending his leisure time on the golf course and has a modest -16 Handicap. He is a devoted husband, father and grandfather and loves spending any spare time he can, with his two grandchildren, taking them on walks to the park and treating them to ice cream.
Andy is the Operations Manager for AMB and oversees all aspects from the administration and HR, to the financial and resourcing divisions. Andy graduated from university in 2008 with a degree in International Business, and since then has built up an array of skills and abilities in public and private sector operational roles.
He joined AMB in February 2019 after leaving a position for a well-established Electrical Contractor and brought with him a vast wealth of knowledge of the industry.
Andy is an avid Formula 1 Motorsports fan and loves attending Grand Prix weekends when he can. He also enjoys walking and travelling and completed Route 66 for his Honeymoon in 2018.
Andy is our Head of Sales - with a wealth of experience Andy has had a successful 17 year career in Construction Recruitment. Andy has run teams UK wide within Civil Engineering and Facilities Management, UK building as well as spending 5 years running highly successful businesses across Asia.
Andy specialises in building high performing teams that are fully conversant with every element of the markets they serve. Andy is still very much a hands on recruiter as well, who works the UK building marketplace on a daily basis.
At home Andy is part of a team of four, with wife Jessica the CEO of a national mental health charity, and two sons Cameron (10) and Leo (4) both avid footballers. This domestic bliss goes out of the window come derby day however as he has one blue son and one red!!!
Head of Marketing
Mili has been working with the AMB team for over two years with over 10 years of experience in the field. She has worked with both small businesses and large corporations, and her expertise lies in creating and executing successful marketing campaigns. Mili is a strategic thinker who takes great pride in helping her clients achieve their marketing goals.
As a mum of two life is extremely busy, mostly ushering children to different activities, running the local Girlguiding Brownies Unit and being the Chair of the local preschool. Mili enjoys hiking in the hills around where she lives, soaking up the glorious view and being grounded by nature.
Kelly has joined the AMB team as Operations Manager. Kelly has over eight years of experience working in recruitment and HR and has a Level 5 CIPD (HR) qualification. Kelly's knowledge and experience is valuable part of the AMB team playing a key role in ensuring that the team runs efficiently and effectively.
Having recently returned from living in Australia, where she lived for a couple of years, Kelly can't wait to book a travelling holiday to explore more of the world. Kelly's favourite thing in the world is dogs! She can't wait to settle into her new home so she can look to purchase a long-haired sausage dog.
Imran our business development manager has a proven track record in business development and is passionate about his role at AMB. Imran is an honest and hardworking individual who always puts the needs of his clients first. He is a reliable source of information and advice, and he will go above and beyond to help you find the perfect candidate for your company.
Imran is a real foodie...his parents are in the restaurant industry, so food has always been an important part of family life. Imran enjoys going to the gym and keeping fit, which is important for both his mind and body. He is also a car enthusiast, and you can often see him on a car track on a weekend enjoying the thrill and excitement of exhausts and engines.
Joe loves to work with people, building and developing their careers within the construction industry. He is an expert in his field and loves helping others find success. He understands the importance of finding the right fit for both employees and employers and takes great pride in his work. Joe is always up for a challenge and will go above and beyond to make sure that both parties are satisfied with the final result.
Joe is a hard-working individual who loves to take a step back from work on the weekends and enjoys catching up with friends and going to the gym.
Chris has an extensive background working within construction recruitment. Currently working as AMB's Key Account Manager he brings a huge amount of experience and knowledge to the team. Chris takes great pride in his work and is always looking for new ways to improve his skills. He has a passion for building strong relationships with clients and candidates alike and firmly believes that teamwork is the key to success. Chris will be covering the following sectors; Construction, Civil Engineering and M&E.
Chris is a family man who enjoys spending time with his young son. When he has some free time to himself, he likes to read crime novels. Chris also enjoys meals out and taking long walks with his Springer Spaniel Ria.
Craig is AMB's FM and Corporate Real Estate Consultant. Craig is passionate about meeting facilities managers and helping them get the right personnel for their construction projects. Craig has over 20 years of experience with blue-chip companies on projects that deliver to exceptional quality, safely and efficiently.
Craig has moved up to Cheshire fairly recently from Kent, so is excited to get out and about and meet lots of people and get to know the area. His passions are Liverpool FC and cooking - especially exploring new cuisines and restaurants.
George is a great asset to the AMB team as his previous roles working in recruitment and working alongside his father’s plumbing business have given him a vast amount of experience and the exact skill set needed to support our clients and candidates within the construction industry.
As well as enjoying his work and looking forward to developing his role at AMB. George enjoys spending time in the gym and keeping himself fit. George is an avid Rugby supporter and is actually an ex-rugby player at Sale Sharks, where he represented England 16s and 18s at the Sales Sharks academy. George also enjoys watching a good documentary, eating out and gardening. We know who will be nominated now to look after the office plants!!
Stacey has worked with construction sites across the country in previous roles, so she is very familiar with the construction industry and the requirements needed to keep construction projects running smoothly. As Key Account Manager at AMB, Stacey enjoys working with our clients and candidates, building relationships and matching them with jobs that are a good fit. With her knowledge and understanding of the construction industry, Stacey is able to provide valuable insights and guidance to both clients and candidates.
Stacey is a mum to her 17-month-old son Leo and in her spare time likes to be outdoors with her little boy exploring and going on adventures. Her mum has moved to Anglesey recently, so this is now their new favourite place to visit, where the family enjoy long walks, sea air and paddling on the beach. Stacey is a massive foodie so enjoys eating out and also getting to any local food festivals.
Talent Acquisition Consultant
Sam Joined AMB as a Talent Acquisition Consultant and assists the team with sourcing, qualifying and establishing leads. Sam has a number of years of experience in the construction industry and is a qualified bricklayer. Unfortunately due to a hand injury at work, Sam is unable to lay bricks but we are glad to have Sam's knowledge and experience on our team.
Outside of work Sam enjoys spending time with his family and friends and likes to attend live music events.
