AC Engineer – Data Centre Installations
Lancashire and Europe (Holland-based work rotation)

I am looking to recruit two fully qualified air conditioning engineers for an ever-expanding client. The positions will cover the UK and Europe, installing specialist cooling equipment and working alongside their electrical teams in niche environments.  If you want to travel and grow your career with a rapidly growing organisation, this could be your next chapter on a very exciting journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Connecting Mitsubishi air conditioning (AC) systems in data centres
• First-fit electrical and mechanical installation of high-end modular units
• Installing external equipment, including pipework
• Working on prefabricated modular units that are initially assembled in Blackburn before being deployed across Europe
• Completing installations within a 3-4 day timeframe onsite

Requirements:

• Ability to install and connect external AC equipment, pipework, and associated systems
• Flexibility to work abroad on a rotational basis
• Ability to work overtime and weekends when required
• Fully qualified A/C Engineers (C&G 2079 accreditation)
• Experience with DX systems (Mitsubishi Electric)
• Familiarity with CRAC and CRAH installations (Airedale)
• A strong commitment to quality, safety, and efficiency

Additional Information:

• Travel and accommodation provided by the company
• Work is part of a structured rotation, with pre-installation in Blackburn followed by on-site assembly in Europe

Salary & Benefits:

• £36,000 - £40,000 per annum
• Enhancements paid at 1/3 of base rate
• Stand-down pay provided
• Living enhancement of £40 per day when abroad
