I am working with my client based in Sheerness, and I am looking for an Operations Manager. Since the 1970s, my client has grown to become a market leader in the marine and environmental services industry, employing over 700 dedicated members of staff. Providing clients with services ranging from terminal operations to subsea cable repair, they are committed to employing dedicated and skilled staff looking for a career that offers stability, recognition and meaningful career progression.
  
The Role

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager based near the Port of Sheerness to manage a key contract.
In the role, you will lead a well-established team, build strong relationships with external stakeholders – and in the process instil trust and confidence in Briggs – and perform wider HSEQ, budget responsibility and business development activities.
  
Responsibilities of the Operations Manager

• Devise, implement and review operational processes and procedures to meet company and customer standards
• Report on progress and performance against plans and budgets
• Ensure adequate resource allocation to meet operational demand
• Promote best operational practices
• Develop effective working relationships with the Central Support and Technical teams to streamline operations   
• Understand the customer’s business inside out to meet and exceed their expectations and identify new opportunities to enhance the partnership
