I am working with a well-established, award-winning Engineering company in Preston, they are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer, to join their team on a permanent basis. The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for creating 2D and 3D CAD models for new and existing projects. It is a great opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a global leader, they have a global reputation, as they supply to clients globally. They are offering the Mechanical Design Engineer a salary of £36,000 - £53,000 (dependent on experience) + benefits.
  
Requirements of the Mechanical Design Engineer:

• Engineering degree or equivalent qualifications
• At least 5 year’s industry experience
• CAD Experience, preferably with Solidworks
• Solidworks PDM experience
• Experience designing machinery or pressure vessels
• Experience working with electro-mechanical systems, hydraulics and pneumatics
• Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis
• Project management experience
