Our client is a world leading IT infrastructure installation business with a long-standing presence at Heathrow Airport. As key partners to the Airport authority they are playing a vital role in the development of the airport’s infrastructure.

We are seeking to recruit an experienced Supervisor to oversee a  dedicated team of experienced data cabling engineers to undertake this work which will be extensive and varied.

Specific tasks will include data cabling for IT devices, information boards, baggage handling systems, CCTV, copper, Access Control and both internal and external fibre links.

However, additional work arises regularly which the team will be expected to manage as required.
  
The role will comprise 80% hands-on supervision of works and approximately 20% office based maintaining records, updating plans and managing daily health and safety duties.

What you need:

• You will have at least 5 years’ experience of installing, terminating and testing copper data cabling.
• Proven experience of leading a team is essential. a minimum of 3 years supervising or managing
• Previous airport work is highly beneficial
• Experience working with major structured cabling companies in a construction environment
• SSSTS or SMSTS as well as ECS and IPAF are essential

  
Previous airport experience is highly beneficial. If not, you must be able to provide evidence of excellent work on major projects with contractors who work within the highest standards of quality and health & safety. 5 years of references will be required to obtain an airside pass.

We are looking for 2 Supervisors to start as soon as possible! With a day rate of £300!
