Are you an experienced Welder looking to take the next step in your career? Join a leading defence manufacturing business specialising in armoured vehicle fabrication. We're seeking a skilled Welder to join our client’s team in Stockport.
  
Key Responsibilities
As a Welder, you'll play a key role in fabricating and welding armoured components, your primary responsibilities will include:

• MIG/MAG welding on armoured plate
• Working from engineering drawings and work instructions
• Performing visual and non-destructive inspections
• Using hand tools and measuring instruments
• Completing welder qualification tests to ISO 9606 / ISO 14732
• Following health and safety procedures
• Logging work via SAP

Skills and Experience

• Time-served apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in Welding
• Welding qualifications (ISO 9606 / ISO 14732)
• Experience in heavy fabrication
• Strong understanding of safety and quality standards
• Ability to work independently and in a team
