My client is an independent multi-disciplinary engineering, environmental and project management consultancy with 4 offices located across the UK. They are looking for a Graduate Environmental Scientist to join their team. 
    
Role Responsibilities:
  • The role will bring with it a varied caseload, combining site and office-based work, and the successful candidate will be trained and mentored towards working independently on a range of environmental and engineering issues.
  • The work will require travel between our regional offices, visits to client sites and occasional travel for consecutive days with overnight stays away from home
  • The role will entail the provision of support to our landfill engineering and civil engineering teams, providing environmental management and compliance advice and services on a range of project types.
Typically, the role will include:
  • Using specialist equipment to take readings and monitoring environmentally sensitive construction works.
  • The collection of samples for laboratory testing.
  • Data analysis and report preparation to a very high degree of accuracy.
  • Detailed review and checking of reports prepared by others in line with the Company’s Quality Management Systems.
  • Engaging with a wide range of project stakeholders, from clients to regulatory agencies.
