Trainee Vehicle Damage Assessor Location: London
Hours: Monday - Friday, 07:00 - 16:00 (including 30-minute lunch break) Salary: Starting from £27,000 per year

About the Role
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to continue their Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) career or for someone looking to transition into this role within the automotive repair industry.

As a Trainee Vehicle Damage Assessor, you will play a vital role in assessing vehicle damage while receiving ongoing training to develop your skills further. Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out damage assessments as part of your training
• Managing general office/admin tasks, such as:
  
  • Answering telephone inquiries professionally
  • Using management software to input, record, and retrieve data
  • Handling face-to-face customer interactions with professionalism
  • Scanning and organizing paperwork in a structured filing system

Key Skills

Essential:

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong general IT skills
• Good analytical and organizational abilities

Desirable but not essential:

• Experience working in a vehicle repair body shop environment
• Familiarity with Bodyshop Management Systems
• Experience using Audatex and/or Autosoft
• Previous VDA experience
• Experience working in a Parts department
